19 Mar Whitchurch Cricket Club
Whitchurch Cricket Club is a community cricket club serving Whitchurch and surrounding villages which has been run entirely by volunteers for over 160 years.
The organisation approached the Wynn Foundation for help with funds to develop a dedicated girls section for ages 11-13 years. The support was required to enable the club to purchase specialist softball cricket equipment for the new girls section. It would also help provide training for additional coaches and cover expenses for tournament fees thus allowing the club to nurture young girls on their cricketing journey.
The Trustees were very happy to support this endeavour and Graham Wynn went along to the club to meet some of it’s members and present the cheque.
