SSAFA applied for a grant from the Wynn Foundation earlier this year which the Trustees of the Foundation were happy to approve.
SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, is a trusted source of support for serving personnel, veterans and their families in their time of need. Their focus is on providing direct support to individuals in need of physical or emotional care.
The Hub is embedded in Shropshire local communities and provides consistency and resilience in the services with a dedicated phone line and casework administrator for Shropshire.
We hope the funds will help to support this vital service in our County.
