Shropshire Peer Counselling & Advocacy Service (PCAS) awarded funding by the Wynn Foundation

Trustees of the Wynn Foundation presented Shropshire Peer Counselling & Advocacy Service (PCAS) with a cheque following a successful grant application from the service. Josh Feehan and Graham Wynn OBE were delighted to meet with staff from the organisation and present a cheque.

The funding will help with travel costs as the organisation has found over the last 27 years that visiting vulnerable people in their own homes helps break down barriers for them, meaning they do not have to arrange their carers and transport to an office environment. This helps build a rapport with the individual and really get to know them and the issues affecting their quality of life, they can then set to helping sort them out, keeping the client at the forefront of everything they do to help and support them.
