28 Jun New kit for the Up and Comers Eagles U11 girls team
Jenny and Graham Wynn of the Wynn Foundation were delighted to present funds to the Up and comers eagles U11 girls team for new kit.
The Female football team provides an opportunity for local girls from all backgrounds, faiths and cultures to play football for enjoyment, fitness and social interaction. The coaches view the club as an opportunity to also provide the girls with life skills and act as positive role models. They train once a week and play games every Saturday in the Shropshire girls and women league across the whole of Shropshire.
The Club started as a team during the Covid years and has been playing in the Shropshire girls and women’s league for the last 2.5 years. They have completed many team bonding activities including archery, shooting, and a bushcraft forest School experience. They have also been ball crew for Shrewsbury Town ladies and Wolves ladies, teams.
The new kit looks great and we look forward to seeing you go from strength to strength.
