Wynn Foundation Trustee, Helen, was delighted to be able to present a cheque to Aurum.
Aurum is an organisation that provides a safe, supportive, and professionally led space for autistic women and girls to be their authentic selves. The service is led by autistic women and specialist autism professionals and provides support for autistic women and girls, and their families. Aurum provides support through social groups, discussion groups, group activities, parent groups, and individual mentoring for both group members and parents.
This grant will enable them to provide support groups for autistic women in South Shropshire. The groups will take place on a monthly basis over a period of 12 months. The groups will be open to both formally diagnosed
and self-diagnosed women that reside in Shropshire.
