Graham Wynn Obe presented a cheque for £3053.50 to the YMCA Wellington and District branch, an independent Christian charity founded in 1859 to support young adults in times of need. The Charity provide supported housing to young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or have a housing need. But the support YMCA provides goes beyond this, offering help with:
- Life skills
- Budgeting skills
- Sexual health
- Accessing education or training
- Getting into employment
- Accessing counselling services
- Building relationships with family
- Contacting mental health services
The funding provided by the Wynn Foundation will go towards ensuring young lives continue to get the support they need.
