28 Feb Telford Amateur Boxing Club
Telford Amateur Boxing Club has been running since 1972 and their aim is to encourage people from a a wide range of age and abilities to get involved in the sport so that they can experience the benefits it can give such as improved health and well-being.
Last year they submitted a grant application to the Wynn Foundation to enable them to purchase additional equipment. The application was successful and Claire (Wynn Foundation Trustee) went along to the club to meet some of the team and present the cheque.
Amar Dhillon, Committee Member said: “I would like to thank the Wynn Foundation on behalf of Telford Amateur Boxing Club, for the donation we received today. As a non-profit organisation receiving donations makes such a huge impact on the club allowing us to provide the best facilities and equipment for our members and future members. It has been wonderful liaising with Claire who is a great asset to the Wynn Foundation. Thank you once again for your donation”
We wish the club and it’s members all the best for the future!
