Share Shrewsbury is a registered charity that supports anyone affected by alcohol dependence, including family and friends.
They do this by creating a visible presence in Shrewsbury, where they can start a conversation with people about addiction and recovery. They also carry out preventative work through delivering alcohol awareness workshops for children.
They are planning to expand this service across Shropshire and so applied to the Wynn Foundation for a grant to help with this. The funding will assist with workshop materials, marketing literature and social media promotion of the support available.
The Wynn Foundation Trustees agreed whole-heartedly to support this work and approved the application.
