Save Our Shropshire CIO awarded grant towards climate literacy training

Wynn Foundation trustees were pleased to be able to present a cheque for £2000 to Save our Shropshire

The funding is to go towards the cost of creating a ‘train the trainer’ programme in Shropshire. The trainers will then deliver carbon literacy training to Parish Councils and households. The training is approved by the Carbon Literacy Project, the educational arm of the Carbon Literacy Trust a registered charity.

The training will inform raise awareness of the climate emergency, it will demonstrate how actions contribute to this, it will inform about carbon footprint and show actions that can be taken to reduce it.
