The Trustees of the Wynn Foundation were delighted to award community group One Voice funds to take over 40 elderly members of their group for a day trip to the seaside .
The group is a Multicultural organisation supporting the Windrush Generation and their descendants from the Caribbean.
The aim is to enable the elderly and vulnerable to be less isolated, while engaging with services such as the NHS, Police and other professionals.
The members of the group had become increasingly isolated throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. This trip to the seaside with a fish and chip meal was just what was needed!
