Claire Stokes, Trustee of the Wynn Foundation was delighted to present a cheque to Home-Start Telford and Wrekin
Home-Start is a family support charity which has been supporting vulnerable families in the area for 34 years. They support families with young children, helping parents to address difficulties they are facing to give their children the best possible start in life.
This funding will help to support Parent and Toddler Drop-in Groups for parents where English is not their first language. Support is particularly needed for children who don’t speak English as they could be at a disadvantage when they start nursery or school. Home-Start Telford and Wrekin provide a language enriching environment and activities and also help wider family with language skills and understanding documents and forms.
