24 Jun Hengoed and Gobowen PCC
The Wynn Foundation recently received a grant application from the Hengoed with Gobowen PCC. The request was to help them purchase a commercial undercounter dishwasher for their very busy church hall.
The hall is used weekly by a Baby and Toddler Group, a Craft Club, rehearsals by Oswestry Ladies Choir, an exercise class, and Gobowen WI also hold their monthly meetings in the hall. The Church organises a weekly Community Cafe offering a warm, safe place for all who want to come. There is a craft table for children who come after school.
Most of the groups that use the hall also use the kitchen for making light refreshments – so a dishwasher would be very useful!
