Donnington Wood Church of England Junior School submitted a grant application to the Wynn Foundation earlier this year as part of a project to raise funds for sensory room provision for some of their pupils.
The Wynn Foundation were delighted to be able to agree to the funding request.
Using this resource will enable the school to gain staff skills in this area and assess what specialist equipment might be useful for the school moving forward, but more importantly, will provide specialist environments for the pupils to meet their sensory needs.
