10 Feb Bridgnorth Community First Responders
Community First Responders (CFRs) are volunteers trained and dispatched by UK ambulance services in their local communities. They provide essential lifesaving treatment and support in those crucial minutes before the ambulance crew arrives. This includes responding to patients suffering a life-threatening emergency such as a cardiac arrest, stroke or breathing problems.
Bridgnorth Community First Responders were approached to expand their CFR scheme to a wider area incorporating more villages near to Bridgnorth and as part of this they want to deliver even more CPR and Defibrillation awareness sessions.
Such amazing work however they need funds to support this additional coverage.
Bridgnorth CFRs submitted a grant application to the Wynn Foundation which was whole-heartedly approved by our Trustees.
