18 May Albrighton Sports Complex
Albrighton Sports Complex is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing high-quality sports and community facilities to local residents and organisations across the Shropshire and Staffordshire areas.
They proudly support a wide range of sporting activities catering to all ages—from 5 to 95—and all abilities.
The complex serves as the home for several local football and bowling clubs and the clubhouse provides a welcoming meeting space for:
Local groups such as the SEN group and community group
Regular coffee mornings that bring residents together, and they host a variety of fundraising events that support local charities and contribute to the ongoing upkeep and improvement of their facilities.
They are also are currently developing a monthly breakfast morning aimed at supporting men’s mental health.
The organisation recently applied to the Wynn Foundation for support to fund some upgrades that were needed for some of their health and safety regulations.
The Wynn Foundation Trustees were happy to support this application.
