Market Drayton Swimming Club is a friendly, competitive Swimming Club based at Market Drayton Swimming and Fitness Centre, andare affiliated to Swim England Shropshire and accredited to SwimMark.
They have a long history helping swimmers to achieve at County and Regional levels, together with the opportunity for swimmers to be selected in the Shropshire County Development Programme.
The club submitted a grant application form looking for a contribution towards 6 new diving blocks.
In the world of competitive swimming, every swim meet event begins behind the stocking block. Having these blocks at their home pool, will give the squad opportunity to practice on the up to date competitive block at training.
The Trustees approved the application and Graham Wynn went along to the club to present the cheque.
