10 Feb Connect for Life – “Illuminating Moments”
Oswestry based charity – Connect for Life submitted a grant application to the Wynn Foundation last year to request support for their “Illuminating Moments” project.
They are currently working on the launch of “Illuminating Moments” — a new strand of theatre-based workshops and a celebratory performance event that will expand the impact of their weekly dementia-friendly sessions.
Through drama, storytelling, song, movement, and reminiscence games, this project will
– Unlock new avenues of expression for people with memory loss.
– Provide structured creative progression, not just one-off activities.
– Build stronger bridges between participants, carers, and the wider Oswestry community.
– Celebrate the creativity and resilience that remain strong in later life.
Wynn Foundation Trustees were keen to support this valuable work and approved the application.
